Party Invitations

So... Miss Kaiya is almost 1 year old? I can't believe it! I decided to get in gear with party planning... the big debate of doing or not doing a party. I had an idea of how I wanted to make the invitations, so on Friday Tony and I spent about 45 minutes trying to get Kaiya to smile for a picture. Well, she had better things to do. :) We pulled out all the stops to get her to smile and she just wouldn't. Tony snapped one of her after she got in trouble for pushing the buttons on his DVD player. She's not used to Daddy raising his voice at all to her. :) And when he said, "Kaiya, NO!" she just lost it. Her little heart broke in half, the chin started quivering and she just broke down bawling. :) So for lack of a smiley picture we decided to get creative with this picture and this is what the invitation turned out like:

I was even able to recruit Tony's help on the inside of the invitations! He helped me cut and glue! What a guy.
