Almost Wordless Wednesday

Kaiya put this up her nose last night.  Daddy was babysitting... need I say more?

To Daddy's credit though... he is the one who got it out.  And it was WAY up there.  I couldn't see it - he could only see it with the flash light.  Took us 2 1/2 hours, but he finally got it out.  She was spastic, we didn't have the ideal tools, and had to call a friend over to help us hold her down. :)  But... we didn't have to go to the hospital!!  We seriously prayed that thing out of her nose... because honestly... Tony was in no frame of mind to debate vaccination with the ER staff. :)

Okay - just how big was this?
Tony's determination paid off.
Glad she's better this morning.:)

Yay for no hospital visits...THAT would have been fun. Does her nose hurt today? I bet she was like Cassie when she gets a splinter...she becomes a total SPAZ and is suddenly super strong..we can bearly hold her down!

You know, it didn't hurt when it was up there. Cause she was fine as long as Tony wasn't anywhere near her. The minute he tried looking up her nose she went crazy. :) And it doesn't hurt today... we're just talking about "da peanut" a lot. btw... a rotten bean in your nose for real? It really rotted?

What is it with little kids and putting stuff up their noses? Apparently I stuck a very small Barbie shoe up my nose when I was two. Thankfully, my mom saw me do it and was able to pull it out with some tweezers. I'm glad Kaiya is okay!

Oh, that's awful! So glad you got it out. Emma has had a habit of getting things stuck in her eye...but daddies are good at patiently getting them out. (And a lot of prayer helps too!)
