Sound Machine
A little help here please! Does anyone have a sound machine they love? Kaleb's fan is about to die... and he's getting one for his birthday. :) I'd love some real reviews... I've never used a sound machine for the kids so I don't know what features I want -- er... I mean... Kaleb wants. :) Cause you know this present is for him... not me.

I got one at Bed Bath and Beyond for Jake. It has 5 sounds (ocean, rain storm, rainforest, summer night, waterfall). It has a dial for loudness and a timer if you want to set it just for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes. It is made by homedics. I like it because it is small and can run on batteries, so I can take it with me easily.
I think it was about $20 but then you can use one of those bed bath and beyond coupons you get in the mail all the time.
We have the one from Homemedics too. It also comes with an adapter to plug it in- I have had it for 5+ years and it is still working great- but I don't use it that often. I think Kaleb would like it too. : )
We have 2 alarm clocks that had ocean and wind sounds as the sleep function so that worked for us. My mom gave me a "sleep sheep" which is nice b/c that is portable and comes with a timer. Alos at my moms house she got a herself a sound machine, ti is very portable, small and loud (if you want) - it also comes with a timer and it is awesome but I cannot remember the specifics, not a lot of help, huh? I am going there Wed - Saturday so I can get you all the details.
