Gingerbread House & an awesome coupon

I decided to attempt a homemade gingerbread house this year. I saw a kit at the store for $9 and thought -- I wonder how hard it is to make one of those! After looking up a recipe and seeing I had all of the ingredients I decided to tackle it. Here are a few pictures of Kaiya decorating the house today.

So the million dollar question is, Did you allow your daughter to EAT any of those ingredients?!?! :) heh heh. In lieu of all the "birthday cakes" your kids have had, I'm a bit surprised you didn't try a Fruit House.....although, now that I think about it, that would be quite yummy :)
