I will not eat it Sam I Am --- unless Kaiya is feeding it to me...

Our vegetable the other night was asparagus. Kaleb is stubborn about this vegetable for some reason... but I'm relentless. Some night he gets his veggies first and then gets the rest of his meal. He either eats it or doesn't eat. :) And he usually puts up a fuss and then decides to go ahead and eat the green stuff. This night, however, he would have none of it. He sat in his chair while we all ate and just whined and cried. I tried feeding him with my fork. When that didn't work I cut the asparagus on my plate and tried letting him take it off my plate. Nope. Then at one point he quiets down and begins thinking about eating some. He is putting some in his mouth and then makes eye contact with me, sees me looking at him and make the most sour, disgusted face and starts gagging. Yeah -- totally faking it.

We had all finished eating so I moved closer to Kaleb to "encourage" him to eat his asparagus. Kaiya came over with her fork and said she would help Kaleb eat his 'spargus. What followed was nothing short of amazing. That little stinker ate nearly every bit of asparagus on his tray with Kaiya feeding him. And he looked like he enjoyed it too.
